A Coaches Take: Players to Follow

Week 2 of the NFL was exciting as ever for the game of football! With so many great games and players, it is easy to get lost trying to keep up with the stars. Well here are some of the best players to follow from week 2, during the game and on Social Media.

COREY COLEMAN, WR – CLEVELAND BROWNS

5 rec, 104 yds, 2 tds – Coleman only made 5 catches this week, but he made them count the most by making two of them for touchdowns. Follow him on twitter @TheCoreyColeman and on instagram @CoreyColeman .

STEFON DIGGS, WR – MINNESOTA VIKINGS

9 rec, 182 yds, 1 td – The Vikings beat the Packers without Adrian Peterson or Teddy Bridgewater? When a team has a guy names Stefon Diggs putting up video game numbers like this, anything is possible. Follow him on twitter @Stefon_Diggs and on instagram @StefonDiggs .

VON MILLER, LB – DENVER BRONCOS

7 tkls, 3 sacks, 1 tfl, 2 qbh – As much time as the reigning Superbowl MVP spent in the backfield with Andrew Luck in the backfield, he might have been confused for a runningback. Two words “STRIP SACK”. Follow Miller on twitter @MillerLite40 and on instagram @VonMiller .

RYAN FITZPATRICK, QB – NEW YORK JETS

24/34, 370 yds, 1 td – Fitzmagic showed that he was deserving of that new contract. His 92.8 Qbr is proof that Magic is real. Fitzpatrick is a Harvard graduate who can’t be found on social media.

ERIC DECKER, WR – NEW YORK JETS

6 rec, 126 yds, 1 td – Seen as the #2 option at receiver in New York, Decker always makes his catches count. This week was no different as he hauled in 6 of his 8 targets. Follow Eric Decker on twitter @EricDecker87 and on instagram @EDeck87 .

ISAIAH CROWELL, RB – CLEVELAND BROWNS

18 car, 133 yds, 1 td – Crowell is one of the few NFL runningbacks who did not need 20+ carries to gain over 100 yards. It might have something to do with his 85 yard touchdown run in the first quarter of the game. Follow him on twitter @IsaiahCrowell34 and on instagram @I_Crowell1 .

DENNIS PITTA, TE – BALTIMORE RAVENS

9 rec, 102 yds – Tight ends dont get a lot of credit or opportunity normally, but Pitta shined for the Raven hailing in 9 of his 12 tagets this week. Follow him on twitter @DennisPitta .

AQIB TALIB, CB – DENVER BRONCOS

2 tkls, 2 pd, 1 int, 1 td – Talib did not get much action his way because of the relentless pass rush of the Broncos. But when the opportunities were presented he made the most of them. Talib’s 46 yard interception return for a touchdown was the 9th in his career. Aqib Talib is anti social media.

MARCUS PETERS, CB – KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

7 tkls, 4 pd, 2 int – Despite the loss, Peters was the focal point of the Chiefs defense. Penalties, touchdown, and interceptions, he was everywhere during this game both good and bad. Anyone who makes 2 interceptions in an NFL game is worth paying attention to at all times. Follow him on twitter @MarcusPeters or instagram @MPJuiceman .

CASEY HAYWARD, CB – SAN DIEGO CHARGERS

4 tkls, 2 pd, 2 int – Casey is new to the Chargers secondary by free agency. He felt right at home this week making two interceptions in one half. Follow Casey Hayward on twitter @Show_Case29 and on instagram @Show_Case29 .

MARCUS COOPER, CB – ARIZONA CARDINALS

7 tkls, 3 pd, 2 int, 1 td – Having one interception in the NFL is usually newsworthy, but Marcus Cooper put himself on the map by having TWO this week, and adding a 60 yard touchdown return was the cherry on top. Follow him on twitter @Mr_Cooper860 and instagram @Mr_Cooper860 .
